A heavy snow fall here in Montreal has resulted in power failures around the city. In some cases the power failed long enough to cause the UPS's on various servers to stop running - so systems were rebooted for the first time in a long time - in some cases they had been up for almost a year! |

When BNT Solutions was incorporated in 2001 there was one goal in particular that ran as a thread through everything that was done: simplify, simplify, simplify! Of course there are some things that, even though you try to keep them as simple as possible, are still going to be somewhat complicated. In these cases, the only solution is to Hold Hands with the customer as We Walk Through the Project Together. Towards that end, many documents were written and prepared over the years that try to help the customer to understand the How and Why of success in various areas.
The Software Development Cycle is one of those documents. The on-time and on-budget delivery of a successful software project is not difficult to achieve but it's never an accident. The only way to build a software system successfully is to work together, taking all the necessary steps while following a solid and reliable process. The Software Development Cycle is a big-picture overview of the process as followed at BNT Solutions, Inc. It has recently been updated and posted to azertech.net.
I hope you'll find it useful and I look forward to your comments.

Do you need to collect information from people you do business with? Would it be easier for you if they could just visit your web site, type the information directly into a web-based form and have the form emailed to the person responsible for that information? If so, this article is for you.
This ezform script was written to be a very, very simple solution for BNT Solutions web customers. Simply download this script and install it in your web site, then follow the instructions to produce you own web based forms. It's designed to be painless, fast and easy to use. We hope you'll like it.
Note, though, that there is a downside to keeping things this simple: You will want additional features but they're not available through this super-simple library. Still, this code will get you started and you can find something more sophisticated later.
Note: This article includes source code in PHP for your PHP-capable web site. A small amount of programming experience is required. If your web site is hosted by BNT Solutions, you can ask for this feature to be installed for you. Please take a moment to contact your site administrator for more details. |
